Adventures at the Cape Cod Canal

So this was an interesting twist! Eric was really hoping for a nice striper, like the one that had just gotten away, only minutes earlier, but instead ... SHARK! It made for quite an entertaining experience for everyone there, including families with kids, who were all very excited to see a shark up close! Once Eric got the hook out (and everyone got their photos!) this surprise guest was sent back to its home in the waves.

The Cape Cod Canal is one of Eric's favorite fishing spots, so I'll be adding more pics to this post soon!

I took this photo while Eric was busy, accidentally catching a shark! It was a beautiful summer evening at the canal, in Sandwich, MA - the weather was perfect and the sunset was gorgeous, with the Sagamore Bridge in the background.
